Google Research published a technical report on a Geospatial Reasoning agent that combines Earth AI foundation models, spatial tools, and upfront planning to perform complex spatial analysis and planetary prediction.
The agent connects Gemini to Earth AI models including WeatherNext, Flood Forecasting, the Population Dynamics Foundation Model, AlphaEarth Foundations, and Remote Sensing Foundations, alongside Google Maps Platform and Earth Engine data.
Google is expanding experimental access via Ask Google Earth and an Agent-to-Agent (A2A) API service.
