Factory announced OpenCompute, a self-hosted orchestrator for agent sandboxes that runs on customer-controlled infrastructure, now in private preview.
It provides on-demand provisioning and lifecycle management for fleets of computers, integrated with Factory's existing Environments, Automations, and Remote Control features.
OpenCompute is designed to let customers run autonomous software development agents on their own choice of runtime without handing over infrastructure control.
