Cities use NVIDIA AI agents and digital twins for urban operations.
NVIDIA announced that cities and partners across Europe are deploying AI agents and digital twins built on NVIDIA accelerated computing, Cosmos, Nemotron, Omniverse, and the Metropolis VSS blueprint.
Projects in France, Italy, Belgium, the UK, Sweden, and elsewhere aim to improve urban operations such as energy management, mobility, safety, and document processing.
The Department of Côte-d’Or in France reported a 10% reduction in total operating costs and a reduction in document search time from weeks to minutes across over 500 public buildings.

In France, the Department of Côte-d’Or , Akila and ThinkDeep built operations agents that combine sensor, infrastructure and historical data in a sovereign digital twin using NVIDIA Nemotron, Omniverse and accelerated computing, with Cosmos adoption planned for video data. Across more than 500 public buildings, the agents support energy, compliance, safety and climate resilience, and cut document search time from weeks to minutes and reduce total operating costs by 10%, targeting 30% at scale.
