Vercel launched a Bot Protection managed ruleset in public beta, available free for all users on all plans.
The ruleset uses heuristics-based detection to distinguish browser-based traffic from non-browser traffic, allowing verified bots and blocking or challenging unwanted bots.
It is designed for sites expecting mostly human traffic and is not intended for sophisticated bots that mimic human behavior.
