Vercel partnered with the Biome team to stress-test the noFloatingPromises lint rule, which catches unhandled Promises.
Engineers created edge cases including array of Promises, Promise-like objects, structural typing tricks, conditional type aliases, and Proxy-based Promises to test the rule's coverage.

Recently we partnered with the Biome team to strengthen their noFloatingPromises lint rule to catch more subtle edge cases. This rule prevents unhandled Promises, which can cause silent errors and unpredictable behavior.
