Replaces stored tokens with runtime credential exchange for agents.
Vercel introduced Vercel Connect, a service that replaces long-lived provider tokens with runtime credential exchange for agents.
Connectors are registered once and attached to projects and environments, providing short-lived, scoped tokens via OIDC identity verification.
The service is in Public Beta as of August 25, 2026.

We built Vercel Connect to solve this problem. Now in Public Beta, Vercel Connect replaces the stored token with runtime credential exchange. You register a connector once. When your agent has work to do, your app proves its identity to Vercel Connect and gets back a short-lived credential, scoped to the task.
