Vercel's analysis of the skills.sh registry, launched three months after Anthropic introduced Agent Skills in October 2025, reports that the registry reached one million agent skills and nearly 280 million installs in seven months.

The report classifies skills by work type, finding that software engineering accounts for the largest share of listings but demand is more distributed, with business operations and writing skills receiving the most installs per listing.

Install activity is highly concentrated, with 0.04% of skills accounting for 62% of installs, and cross-industry skills receive 3.6 times as many installs per listing as industry-specific ones.
