New policy enforcement for Copilot clients

GitHub added a forceRemoteSettingsRefresh setting that lets enterprise administrators require Copilot clients to fetch current server-managed settings at startup, failing closed if the policy cannot be confirmed.

The company also added minimum client version enforcement to the sandbox key, forcing users on older Copilot clients to update.
