Introducing TextImage Augmentation for Document Images

Hugging Face introduces a multimodal text-image augmentation pipeline for document images, developed in collaboration with Albumentations AI. The pipeline modifies both image content and text annotations simultaneously, supporting augmentations like random insertion, deletion, swap, and stopword replacement to improve VLM fine-tuning on limited datasets.
