Harvey’s Principles for AI Adoption and Rollout in Law Schools

Harvey published a set of five principles and a four-stage rollout framework for law schools to integrate AI into legal education responsibly, based on its work with over 20 schools through its Law School Program.

The principles state that AI should augment rather than replace thinking, require human verification, promote proficiency through practice, mandate transparency, and ensure equitable access.

The rollout stages cover policy development, structured assignments, and encouraging experimentation.
