Swift Transformers Reaches 1.0 – and Looks to the Future

Hugging Face released version 1.0 of swift-transformers, a Swift library for local LLM inference on Apple Silicon.

The release marks API stability, introduces modular Tokenizers and Hub components, adopts modern Core ML APIs, removes dependencies, and signals future focus on MLX and agentic use cases.
