Google announced Gemini 4 Argon, its new flagship model, which outperforms OpenAI's and Anthropic's top models on most benchmarks, particularly in knowledge work tasks.
The model supports up to 1 million output tokens and is initially available only through the Fairwind Program, with paid API and AI Ultra subscribers gaining access before broader release.
Pricing is set at $2 per million input tokens and $10 per million output tokens during an introductory period.
