OpenAI launched Dots, a set of always-on AI agents in ChatGPT that work toward goals without step-by-step direction and run on their own cloud computers.
The agents, powered by GPT-6 Astra, can message or call users across ChatGPT, Slack and Teams, and can work directly on a user's laptop with permission.
Dots began rolling out to ChatGPT Pro and Business Premium subscribers, with one agent included at no extra cost and additional agents and capacity planned for later at undisclosed prices.
