TechCrunch reports that the domain dot.com, owned by Elon Musk's xAI, redirects to the download page for xAI's Grok chatbot app.
The domain was transferred in July, and the timing coincides with OpenAI's launch of a product called Dots.
The internet speculates that xAI may have purchased the domain as a prank targeting OpenAI's launch.
