Krea ships first in-house model, Krea 2
Krea, a 37-person company with $83M raised, released its first in-house model, Krea 2, which is designed to produce varied, artistic images rather than safe, photorealistic outputs.
The model was trained on a hand-built dataset and allows users to drop reference images, adjust style influence, and build mood boards.
Krea plans to train two more models on a $20M GPU cluster, with K2 described as the conservative model in the roadmap.
