GPT-6.1 Sol in GitHub Copilot
GPT-6.1 Sol is now generally available in GitHub Copilot.
GitHub announced the general availability of OpenAI's GPT-6.1 Sol model in GitHub Copilot.
The model supports agentic coding and terminal workflows, and in early testing it completed tasks using fewer tokens and steps than earlier GPT-6 and GPT-5.6 family models.
It is available to Copilot Pro+, Max, Business, and Enterprise users across multiple IDEs and platforms, with a gradual rollout.
