Hugging Face Models on Foundry Managed Compute

Hugging Face announced a curated catalog of open-weight models from its ecosystem, refreshed weekly, that can be deployed in one click onto Microsoft Foundry Managed Compute, a new managed GPU platform-as-a-service for open-source and custom models, announced at Microsoft Build 2026. The catalog includes models across text, vision, audio, and multimodal modalities, with security-screened Safetensors weights and automatically managed runtimes (vLLM, SGLang, TensorRT-LLM, NIM, TEI, llama.cpp), and integrates with Foundry's enterprise features like content safety, guardrails, RBAC, private networking, and Azure Policy. Managed Compute offers global and data zone deployments, pay-per-token and provisioned throughput options, and quota aligned to accelerator families.
