Using AI to identify genetic variants in tumors with DeepSomatic

Google Research announces DeepSomatic, an AI-powered tool published in Nature Biotechnology that uses convolutional neural networks to identify cancer-related somatic variants in tumor cells from sequencing data. The tool works across major sequencing platforms and is made openly available to the research community.
