DS-STAR: A state-of-the-art versatile data science agent

Google Research introduces DS-STAR, a new data science agent that automates tasks like statistical analysis, visualization, and data wrangling across diverse data formats.

It features a data file analysis module, an LLM-based verifier for plan assessment, and iterative sequential planning.

DS-STAR achieves state-of-the-art performance on the DABStep, KramaBench, and DA-Code benchmarks, outperforming existing methods like AutoGen and DA-Agent.
