Next generation medical image interpretation with MedGemma 1.5 and medical speech to text with MedASR

Google Research announces MedGemma 1.5 4B, an update to the open MedGemma model with improved support for high-dimensional medical imaging (CT, MRI, histopathology), longitudinal imaging, anatomical localization, and medical document understanding. They also describe MedASR, a new open medical speech-to-text model. Both remain free for research and commercial use.
