Lovable experienced a 19-hour outage on January 2-3, 2025, after
GitHub disabled its app for violating terms of service due to rapid repository creation.
The issue was resolved for new projects by migrating to AWS S3 for file storage, and for existing projects when GitHub reinstated the app.
Lovable restored credits used during the outage and gave paying users unlimited access the following weekend.
