Lovable didn't always start as the polished platform you see today. According to Henrik , one of Lovable's growth team members: “It started as an open-source project called GPT Engineer by Anton . It got really famous online, and that traction turned it into a product. Later we rebranded the product to Lovable, and the rest is history.”
