LG AI Research published its 2025 Accountability Report on AI Ethics, detailing its commitment to safety and trustworthiness.
The company established K-AUT (Korea-Augmented Universal Taxonomy), an AI risk taxonomy with 226 detailed items reflecting universal human values and Korea's legal and cultural characteristics.
LG AI Research also conducted research on hallucination mitigation in multimodal AI and deepfake detection, fostered an internal AI ethics culture through seminars, and became the first Korean company to serve as an Authorized Assessor for IEEE CertifAIEd, certifying LG Electronics' AI home hub as the first private-sector product to receive the certification.
