LG AI Research's Academy Team ran a 12-week AI Expert Course from April 7 to June 25, 2026, where domain specialists from LG affiliates worked with mentors on 10 field-relevant projects across Data Intelligence, Language, and Physical Intelligence domains.

At the September 4 achievement sharing session, three projects were recognized: an on-device AI method achieving identical air conditioner fault diagnosis with 30% of the original dataset, a Mixture of Experts model for humanoid motion control, and a reinforcement learning model for robot transfer operations that increased production yield by up to 0.9%.
