Amazon Web Services published a technical walkthrough for automating retail replenishment by combining Databricks Many Model Forecasting (MMF) with Chronos-2, a Databricks Genie Agent, and Amazon Quick.
The solution detects demand surges, reconciles them against supplier availability in Amazon S3 Tables, and places purchase orders automatically, escalating to humans only when no rule fits.
