Users can now register remote MCP servers as custom connectors in Perplexity Projects.
Perplexity introduced custom connectors that allow users to register a remote MCP server once on their Project connectors page.
The service stores the server's credential so applications do not need to store or send it with each request.
Custom connectors are available to all Projects and support API-key or no authentication with Streamable HTTP or SSE transport.
