Tencent and NGOs Bring AI Into Social Services in Hong Kong
Tencent launches AI training and tools to reduce administrative work for Hong Kong social workers.
Tencent Foundation and the Hong Kong Social Welfare Sector Heart to Heart Joint Action launched an initiative to help Hong Kong social service organizations use AI in their daily work, with training and tools built around frontline needs.
The program includes an online course using WorkBuddy, and several NGOs are already using AI to cut time on tasks such as duty rosters and volunteer-hour records.
