Amazon announced the UpdateRecord API for SageMaker Feature Store, enabling feature-level writes that allow updating one or more feature values in a single atomic call without a full read-modify-write cycle. The capability is available for both the Standard (DynamoDB-backed) and In-Memory (ElastiCache-backed) online store tiers, with Standard_V2 storage format required for the Standard tier.
