Amp has turned on Amp Tab by default for all new Amp extension installs. Amp Tab is a free in-editor completion engine for VS Code, Windsurf, and Cursor that is fast, understands diagnostic errors, and can suggest updates across multiple files. Existing users can enable it via the command palette.
