- Subject: Amp

Amp removed public, internet-wide, discoverable thread sharing, citing the risk of snippets of sensitive files being included in threads as agents read more files into context. Users can still share threads within a workspace or as Unlisted via an unguessable URL. Existing public threads have been converted to Unlisted, and user profiles no longer show threads.

## Evidence

Verbatim from https://ampcode.com/news/end-of-public-threads:

> We’ve removed public, internet-wide, discoverable thread sharing from Amp. You can still share threads within a workspace, or as Unlisted to share them with anyone by unguessable URL.
