Legora says Philadelphia law firm Obermayer Rebmann Maxwell & Hippel has selected its legal AI platform after reviewing several competing products. The firm wanted a tool its attorneys could use day to day and one that fit its wider AI strategy, and Legora says its platform offered both with a realistic path to firm-wide adoption. Obermayer's attorneys use it for research, drafting and analysis, with the firm's collective knowledge applied to each client matter. Managing Partner Mathieu Shapiro said the software streamlines work without replacing judgment, giving lawyers more time to bring that judgment to bear. Chief Technology Officer Jeffrey McShane said the firm saw strong technology and a team committed to helping it succeed. Legora says its staff worked on site with the firm's attorneys during the evaluation, ran live sessions on Obermayer's own use cases, and stayed involved throughout. CEO Max Junestrand said the company's team learns how a firm's lawyers practice so it can take on the most work, and that Legora is used by more than 140,000 legal professionals at more than 2,000 firms and in-house teams across over 80 markets.
