GitHub Copilot is now usable inside Xcode's built-in coding assistant, giving developers a way to work with Copilot without leaving their native Xcode workflow. The integration is in public preview and requires Xcode 27.3 beta, which is available from Apple Developer Downloads. It runs on a Mac with macOS Tahoe 26.6 or later, and setup happens under Xcode's Settings, in the Intelligence section. GitHub says all Copilot plans are supported, and the existing GitHub Copilot for Xcode extension remains a separate option for developers who prefer it. GitHub is asking users to send feedback through the GitHub Copilot for Xcode repository or Apple Feedback Assistant.
