Corridor is joining Cognition, where the security company says it will take Devin Security to the next level. Corridor started almost two years ago to accelerate secure and autonomous software development and has become the security layer for AI-native teams, according to the post. The team says it has long admired Cognition and is joining forces with Russell Kaplan, Cognition's President and one of Corridor's earliest advisors, and will work again with Alex Stamos, Cognition's CSO. Corridor argues AI agents can now execute end-to-end attack chains, so defenders need new tools, and companies will only stay secure by addressing longstanding security debt. The post calls the next 6–12 months the most consequential period in the history of cybersecurity and says the time for companies to shore up their defenses is now.

## Evidence

Verbatim from https://cognition.com/blog/corridor-joining-cognition:

> Today, Corridor is joining Cognition, where we’ll be taking Devin Security to the next level.
>
> We started Corridor almost two years ago with the mission of accelerating secure and autonomous software development. Since then, Corridor has become the security layer for AI-native teams, and we’ve seen security go from a niche concern to one of the most pressing issues of our time.
>
> We’ve long admired the Cognition team. We’re especially excited to join forces with Russell Kaplan, Cognition’s President and one of our earliest advisors, and to work together with Alex Stamos, Cognition CSO, once again. Over the past few months, we’ve also gotten to know Cognition’s CTO Steven Hao and are looking forward to working closely with him.
>
> For us, this mission is personal. We’ve spent our careers finding and fixing vulnerabilities in some of the world’s most critical systems and building secure software to be resilient against all kinds of attackers. AI agents can now execute end-to-end attack chains, and defenders need new tools to keep up. Companies will only stay secure by working now to address longstanding security debt.
