Baseten says it is now Postman's recommended inference partner for enterprise agents, pairing Postman's agent-building tools with Baseten's inference and post-training. Postman, which the post says is used by over 40 million developers and 98% of the Fortune 500, supplies the Agent Stack: Passport for scoped API credentials, Fabric as an AI-native gateway, Astropods for agent runtime and guardrails, and Fern for generated documentation, SDKs and CLIs. Baseten runs the models behind those agents, and says seven of its 2026 launches ranked among the top two providers on Artificial Analysis for throughput and latency, including Beam 1.0 at first in both. Its Multi-cloud Capacity Management pools GPU capacity across clouds for resilience, with zero data retention by default and options to restrict clouds, regions and clusters, including single-tenant and active-active deployments. Baseten Training post-trains open models for specific agent tasks; the post cites Harvey post-training a 27B open model to match closed-source frontier performance on its legal agent benchmark, where top closed models cost roughly $50 per task.
