Harvey has acquired Aida, an AI-native sales execution platform, to accelerate its work helping each firm build its own ontology. Aida was founded by Glean co-founder Piyush Prahladka and Atish Das Sarma, who previously led engineering, data science, and growth teams at Patreon, Apple, and X. The co-founders and their team of search and machine learning engineers will join Harvey's product and engineering organization. Harvey says the acquisition will provide critical context that makes every agent, model, and product an organization uses more effective. It is Harvey's fifth acquisition of this year, following Guardails in September and Benchmark in July. CEO Winston Weinberg said legal teams have decades of valuable knowledge locked away in documents and systems that are difficult to search and connect.
