Anthropic is partnering with HCLTech, a global technology company with more than 230,000 people in 60 countries, which becomes a Global Premier Partner in the Claude Partner Network. HCLTech will build agentic solutions on Claude for clients in financial services, manufacturing, healthcare, telecom and other sectors, where the post says a mistake is expensive and every change needs to be reviewed, logged and approved. It is creating a dedicated Anthropic Business Unit and Center of Excellence where forward-deployed engineers set up secure sandbox environments so clients can test Claude against their own systems and data before deploying. HCLSoftware becomes an Anthropic independent software vendor partner and will embed Claude in select products, starting with HCL BigFix for endpoint management, HCL AppScan for application security testing and the Actian AI analyst for data and analytics. Claude and Claude Code also go into AI Force, the platform HCLTech uses to deliver IT support, code remediation and digital employee services, with policy guardrails, exception handling and human oversight for high-impact changes. HCLTech engineers review and approve anything that touches a client's production systems, while agents handle the routine work.
