Amp is now an agent inside Linear, so assigning an issue to it starts a new Agent Session and spawns a new orb. Teams can also mention @Amp to kick off a session, and Amp replies to messages sent along the way in the same session. The Agent Session appears in the Amp sidebar and is fully viewable in Amp, letting users follow progress in Linear and then open the same conversation in Amp. Getting started requires installing the Amp agent in a Linear workspace and connecting an Amp account to the Linear MCP in Settings → MCP & Integrations.
