Supabase added Mozilla Llamafile as an inference server option for Edge Functions, alongside the existing Ollama support. Llamafile provides an OpenAI API compatible server that can be called from Supabase Edge Functions via @supabase/functions-js or the OpenAI Deno SDK. Access to Supabase-hosted open-source LLMs remains invite-only while GPU demand is managed.
