Tencent introduced WorkBuddy, an AI agent that edits documents, spreadsheets and presentations directly within the file rather than requiring copy-paste. It supports Human–AI Co-Writing in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Tencent Docs, and can retrieve information from external tools via internal connectors or the Model Context Protocol (MCP).

## Evidence

Verbatim from https://www.tencent.com/you-work-across-six-apps-your-ai-should-too/:

> With Human–AI Co-Writing, you and WorkBuddy work on the same document. Open a Word, Excel or PowerPoint file, or an online file in Tencent Docs, Tencent’s cloud document platform. Select what needs attention, describe the change in plain language, and WorkBuddy makes it right there while you keep editing alongside it.
