- Subject: Replit Agent

Replit released a suite of new indentation and whitespace features for its code editor, including automatic indentation detection, a status-bar indentation menu, smarter pasting that re-indents copied code, and a setting to show whitespace. Users can now set indentation sizes between 1 and 16 spaces.

## Evidence

Verbatim from https://replit.com/blog/smarter-indentation:

> Replit can now automatically detect the indentation of files that you open. That means if a file was indented with two spaces, you'll automatically get two spaces when you press tab regardless of what your normal settings are.
