Cua Driver 0.5.7 adds background computer-use for Linux desktop apps, using AT-SPI 2 over D-Bus for the accessibility tree and XTEST for input synthesis, with a painted agent cursor kept separate from the physical pointer. The supported backend is X11 and XWayland, with native Wayland in preview behind an opt-in flag. It is available today for any agent over MCP or the CLI, tested on Debian 12, Ubuntu 22.04, Ubuntu 24.04, Rocky 9, and Fedora 41.
