GitHub Copilot CLI version 1.0.94-0 adds a /model command that discovers local models from a running Ollama instance, alongside configured and cloud models. Users can review a model's provider and endpoint before adding it for the current session without restarting the CLI. The feature requires Ollama and the model to be already installed, and models must support tool calling and streaming.
