GitHub added Claude Sonnet 5.5 for Copilot Pro, Pro+, Max, Business, and Enterprise users, and GPT-6.1 Sol for Pro+, Max, Business, and Enterprise users. It introduced HydraFusion, a research preview that lets Copilot select and coordinate models, now available in VS Code and the GitHub Copilot app. Dynamic workflows, now in public preview, allow users to save and reuse processes such as release checks and failure investigations. Computer use in Copilot CLI and the Copilot app, also in public preview on macOS and Windows, enables automation of desktop app tasks with user approval. Three new Azure canvases bring resource queries, cost health checks, and Azure Functions hosted skills into the Copilot app. Multi-folder sessions and reuse of ignored folders across worktrees are now experimental.

## Evidence

Verbatim from https://github.blog/changelog/2026-10-02-github-copilot-weekly-releases-september-28:

> Save a process for Copilot to follow again. With dynamic workflows, you can ask Copilot to run release checks, investigate failures, and pause for your review, then reuse that workflow next time.
