Anthropic is expanding its Cyber Verification Program (CVP) to a wider pool of security professionals, granting vetted organizations and individual researchers access to Claude's most powerful AI models with reduced safety filters for vulnerability research, malware analysis, incident response, and penetration testing. The program has three tiers: Defense Access, Red Team Access, and Specialized Access, with the latter requiring joint vetting with the US government. Partners in the predecessor program, Project Glasswing, found at least 129,000 confirmed vulnerabilities between April and July 2026, with over 33,000 classified as high-severity or critical.
