Ai2 released OlmoEarth v1.1, a new family of remote sensing foundation models that cuts compute costs by up to 3x compared to OlmoEarth v1 while maintaining similar performance. The improvement comes from merging tokens across Sentinel-2 resolutions into a single token, reducing sequence length, and modifying the pretraining regimen.
